In 2024, the WVCA Annual Symposium celebrated its 50th Anniversary and attracted over 400 senior management and operating personnel from both large and small coal companies throughout the country. A large attendance is expected again in 2025.
The inaugural West Virginia Coal Show sold out with more than 150 exhibitors in over 200 booths. Demand for additional exhibit space to accommodate large equipment resulted in the addition of the Charleston Coliseum. The show is expected to almost double in size for 2025.
