Allegheny Metallurgical is a mining company located in Volga, West Virginia. Our Longview Mine utilizes continuous miners and a longwall system to mine coal from the Lower Kittanning Coal Seam. With more than 93 million clean tons of coal to produce and process, through our High Carbon Processing Plant, we have more than a 25-year life. Our coal is transported by CSX Railroad to market through a high-capacity loading system and rail loop. Our metallurgical coal is shipped worldwide.
